The next census will take place in May 2026

The next census will take place in May 2026. To support census collection efforts, Statistics Canada is now hiring in communities across Canada. Both supervisory and non-supervisory positions are available.

They are looking at hiring local staff to help collect accurate data in the community. This data is vital for planning and evaluating programs and services such as education, health care, child care, housing, emergency services, roads, public transportation and job training.
