Text Box: DID YOU KNOW?
Rural Pipeline Users:
Farm water conservation and management is critical if your water supply system is to keep up with the water that everyone needs.
Increased demand(s) – i.e., filling spray tanks may result in significant pressure to others down the line? It can also cause the water treatment plants to run at maximum capacity.
Ways you can help:
For those spraying:
•	Fill your tank from the hose overnight. A float control can be made or purchased that will turn off the water when your tank is full.
For those with livestock:
Have a reservoir. This helps to reduce peak demands.
•	Fill the reservoir over a 24-hour period and repressurize to meet your barn’s requirements
•	Have a minimum 24- hours water supply in case your municipal system has a break down.
•	Additional tips for everyone will be printed and included with utility bills
